The Coker House at Champion Hill is a home used during the Civil War as a hospital and artillery site for Confederate and Union forces. The house and property was part of Cal-Maine Foods' original egg farm in Edwards, Mississippi. In 1985, Cal-Maine Foods donated the property to the Mississippi Department of Archives and History.
