The Coker House at Champion Hill is an antebellum home used during the Civil War as a hospital and artillery site for both Confederate and Union forces. The house and property was part of Cal-Maine’s original egg farm in Edwards, Mississippi. In 1985, Cal-Maine donated the property to the Mississippi Department of Archives and History.
